Meta Ray-Ban Display Not Launching in Korea? Rokid Glasses vs Even G2 vs INMO GO3
Posted Video released
Of four display glasses, only Rokid Glasses and Even G2 are officially sold in Korea. Korean purchase and A/S, total price, prescription lenses and Korean language compared in the same order (research, not a test).
Of four display glasses that put text in the lens, only two can be bought officially in Korea: Rokid Glasses and Even G2. As of the check date (2026-10-31), the INMO GO3 and Meta Ray-Ban Display had no official sale in Korea, and Meta Ray-Ban Display had no official Korean launch announcement either. This article rewrites a YouTube video and goes through official purchase and after-sales service in Korea, total price, prescription lenses, Korean language, and camera, weight and battery, in the same order for each product.
The conclusion in 3 lines
- Officially sold in Korea: 2 of the 4 (Rokid Glasses and Even G2). The INMO GO3 and Meta Ray-Ban Display are not.
- The same 2 also have a route to prescription lenses in Korea: 4 specialist opticians for Rokid, and 8 Papyrus stores per the official store locator for Even G2.
- The same 2 also have official domestic after-sales service (A/S) confirmed. For Even G2, the 1-year free warranty applies only to purchases from official sellers, afterwards repairs are quoted case by case, and the exchange policy and repair fee amounts are not in the notice.
The numbers in this article are not measurements
We do not own these products. Every value was cross-checked from official specs, official stores, official Korean notices, app stores, media reports and reviews, with a check date of 2026-10-30 to 31. Some weight and field-of-view values come from media reports rather than official confirmation, and reviews include sponsored and affiliate videos that may lean positive. App and firmware updates can change features. Prices are in won for Korea and in the original currency of each official store overseas, and limited-time discounts are mixed in.
The video uses five criteria: whether you can buy officially in Korea and get A/S, the total cost (the unit plus add-ons plus prescription), whether prescription lenses work, whether Korean works (app, translation, and the glasses' on-lens menu), and camera, weight, battery and input method.

Rokid Glasses: a full-featured model with camera and speakers
Official specs are about 49g, maximum brightness of 1,500 nits, a 30-degree field of view and a 12-megapixel camera. Online translation covers 89 languages, and per the Korean official page, 6 languages including Korean also work in offline translation. The official page states that navigation does not work inside Korea. There is an introduction of an unofficial app by an individual developer that mirrors the phone's navigation screen onto the glasses, but we could not confirm it.

The Korean official store price is KRW 999,000 for the unit, KRW 1,158,000 with the charging case (KRW 159,000, sold separately), and KRW 1,217,000 with the prescription frame (KRW 59,000), with lens cost added on top (the totals are calculations). The global official store showed $619, a limited-time discount from the list price of $739. The official Korean distributor sells through the official store, Naver, Coupang and specialist opticians.

The reference date for the 1-year free A/S differs between documents: the notice says activation date and the warranty policy says purchase date. Direct imports, parallel imports and used units are not eligible for domestic A/S (notice of 2026-09-28), and returns are described as the 7-day statutory period. For prescriptions, you buy the official magnetic frame and have lenses fitted at 4 specialist opticians, with myopia, astigmatism and progressive lenses possible, but we could not confirm lens cost or production time. The app is confirmed in Korean, and voice recognition supports Korean, but the official FAQ says AI voice replies have trouble distinguishing Korean pronunciation. We could not confirm Korean in the glasses' on-lens menu. Reviewers praise integration, comfort and captions, and complain about bugs, slow translation, 4 to 6 hours of battery, and text readability outdoors at midday.
Even G2: a text-display model without camera or speakers
It weighs about 36g, with a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits and a 27.5-degree field of view, and comes with more than two days of battery under normal use plus a charging case as standard. Translation covers 33 languages on the official list (35 or more in promotional copy), including Korean, and there is no offline mode. Navigation operation in Korea is not in the official documents, and reviews are mixed.

The Korean price is KRW 1,099,000 for the unit (charging case included), and adding the KRW 459,000 ring and the KRW 189,000 clip comes to KRW 1,747,000 (calculation, prescription separate). It is sold through the official store and Naver. On the check date the official store showed sold out, with shipping described as sequential after November 9 or 15 depending on the option. Returns are the 7-day statutory period, and prescription lenses are described as non-refundable.

The domestic A/S policy is in the notice of 2026-09-03. Only purchases from official sellers get 1 year free from the purchase date, and afterwards repairs are quoted case by case. The prescription is built into the frame, so you cannot swap it yourself, and you order it at 8 Papyrus stores. Pickup takes at least 4 weeks officially (some reports say at least 2 weeks), and adding a prescription to a unit you already bought costs KRW 200,000 for the replacement as a separate charge. The notice states that online prescription sales are not allowed because of the Medical Technicians Act. On Korean, the Korean official FAQ says Korean translation and caption display are supported, and Korean in the app appears in the app 2.2.8 notes of 2026-08-08. We could not confirm the language of the glasses' on-lens menu. Of 10 Korean review videos whose descriptions we checked, 9 had sponsorship, free product or affiliate links. Reviewers praise the ordinary-glasses look and the battery, and complain about misrecognized controls and the ring's connection dropping.
INMO GO3: replaceable batteries and offline Korean translation
It is not officially sold in Korea. The weight is about 58g per the official manual, with an 8-megapixel camera, 2 speakers, maximum brightness of 1,500 nits and a 30-degree field of view. The official FAQ says offline translation covers 9 languages on Android, including Korean. Translation delay is 0.5 seconds on the sales page and 2 to 3 seconds according to a Japanese outlet.

The US official store price is $509, reduced from the list price of $699 until 8 a.m. US Eastern Time on November 2 (as of the video's check date). There is no Korean price. A prescription insert costs $95 to $130 and supports myopia and astigmatism but not hyperopia.

The Wadiz sale ended on 2026-09-07, and the official A/S centers are in the US, Japan and Europe, none in Korea. Prescriptions are ordered from the official store, take 7 more business days to make, and cannot be cancelled once production starts. We could not find an official route for getting them fitted at a Korean optician. The app is confirmed in Korean and offline translation includes Korean, but we could not confirm the glasses' on-lens menu. The app changed to 3.0.0 on October 30, and the US App Store rating has very few samples. Overseas media reviewers praise the replaceable battery and offline translation, and complain about app polish and an ordinary camera. The Korean-language review is a single video with an ad disclosure, so its evidence is weak.
Meta Ray-Ban Display: no official Korean launch announcement
The glasses and the Neural Band wristband come as one set. Only one lens has a full-color display, with a resolution of 600×600 and a 12-megapixel camera. The 20-degree field of view and 69g weight come from overseas media reports, and we could not open the official page. Battery is up to 6 hours on the glasses, up to 30 hours with the case, and up to 18 hours on the band. In the US it is $799 including the Neural Band, or $999 with a prescription. In France, Italy and Germany it is €899, and in the UK £749. There is no Korean price, only a calculated conversion of about KRW 1.1 million based on September 2025 (per media reports).

The overseas expansion covers five countries, Canada, the UK, France, Italy and Germany, and Korea is not among them. The Meta Korea newsroom launch announcements do not mention this product either (as of 2026-10-31). The Ray-Ban Meta sold in Korea is a model without a display (the 2nd generation from KRW 690,000, and the 3rd generation launched on 2026-10-12 from KRW 740,000). For this product, Korean voice, translation and captions, KakaoTalk support, Korean navigation, KC certification and a Korean A/S policy were all unconfirmed. For Korean-language reviews we checked only the titles and could not read the content, so we did not evaluate them.

Whether Meta has speakers is based on a wiki. Battery is not ranked because the figures are stated on different bases. We could not confirm the language of the glasses' on-lens menu for any of the four.

Verdicts by situation, as organized in the video
These are the video's verdicts, not a purchase recommendation. To buy officially in Korea and also have prescription and A/S covered, Rokid Glasses and Even G2 qualify. The split was Rokid if you need a camera and Even G2 for light everyday use. Offline Korean translation is confirmed for the INMO GO3 and Rokid Glasses, and the INMO GO3 has no official Korean sale. No product has Korean navigation confirmed in official documents. To use the Meta Ray-Ban Display in Korea, you would need to check Korean language, KakaoTalk notifications, Korean navigation, warranty and A/S, KC certification and the prescription procedure, and the answer to all of them right now is "none" or "unconfirmed."
Before ordering, the video gives a checklist: whether you are buying from an official seller (direct imports, parallel imports and used units are excluded from domestic A/S), return conditions, add-ons such as the charging case, ring and clip, the prescription route, production time and cancellation deadline, Korean and translation in the app and on the lens, and the dates of updates and reviews.
Reference date and limits
- The video was published 2026-11-01, and values were checked on 2026-10-30 to 31 (some rechecked on 10-31). This article reflects the video's publication date, and prices, stock and launch status may have changed since.
- This is an organized summary, not a measurement, and we do not own the products. We could not confirm the Korean menu on the glasses' lens, Rokid's lens cost and production time, or whether the Meta Ray-Ban Display can be used in Korea.
